All the pain and hurt with the training and running 26 miles on Sunday “will think of all the good things and all the help we are doing that will help me to pull through this journey”
Tom Lister has even said that whenever fans see me, they always ask one question, when will Chas and Carl get back together? so you never know what might happen. Tom has said that his character Carl and Megan do not want either of them to get the upper hand, so they playing games with one another, it is still early days so you never know she could be the one or not. “Carl and Megan will have on and off romance”
Tom even said that the kissing and hot scenes are not the same as they are when watching them on Tv, as They about 20 people on ground watching the scenes, then the make up artists and crew who wipe your lips with wet wipes because of the lipstick marks on the lips.
Tom Lister even credited his co-star Gaynor who plays fiesty Megan Macey says she is fantastic and good to work with.
Emmerdale’s Tom Lister has revealed fans of the soap are always asking when Carl King and Chas Dingle will get back together.
Things have been hotting up between Carl - who was dumped by Chas (Lucy Pargeter) in 2010 after she learned he was unfaithful - and new arrival Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye).
But Tom told Daybreak: “Whenever I go out anywhere everyone always asks, ‘Are Carl and Chas going to get back together?’ Myself and Lucy always get asked that but you never know which way it’s going to go.”
He added: “Carl and [Megan] start to hit it off but neither of them wants to let the other one have the upper hand so they’re on, they’re off, they’re on, they’re off and it’s all a little bit like that for the next while.”
And the actor - who is running the London Marathon this weekend with some of his Emmerdale co-stars - confessed his steamy scenes with Megan weren’t so passionate in real life.
"It’s never quite as it looks, because you’ve normally got about 20 people all stood around and the make-up girls come in and give you a wet wipe to take some lipstick off your mouth," he laughed.
Emmerdale’ Tom Lister: ‘Carl, Megan will have on-off romance’
Emmerdale star Tom Lister has revealed that Carl King’s upcoming passion with Megan Macey will be an on-off affair.
Carl agrees to spend the night with Megan (Gaynor Faye) in this evening’s (April 19) double bill after giving her a lift home from a make-up party at Mill Cottage.
Lister today told Daybreak that Carl and Megan will continue to be in each other’s lives for some time to come.
"Things are obviously starting to kick off with Gaynor, and she’s fantastic," he explained. "[Megan’s] a very complex character and she’s got lots of secrets in the closet.
"Carl and her start to hit it off, but neither of them wants to really let the other one have the upper hand. So they’re on, they’re off, they’re on, they’re off and it’s a little bit like that."
However, Lister confessed that many Emmerdale fans still seem keen for Carl to reunite with his ex-fiancée Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
He said: “Whenever I go out anywhere, everybody always asks, ‘Are Carl and Chas going to get back together?’ So that tends to be the question on everybody’s lips whenever we’re out and about - myself and Lucy always get asked that.”
Pondering whether Megan could be the one for Carl, Lister added: “You never know - it’s early days. Who knows where it’s going to go?”
'Emmerdale' Lucy Pargeter: 'Chas Dingle will be an outsider'
Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has predicted that her character Chas Dingle will become an “outsider” if her affair is exposed.
Chas is currently playing a dangerous game as she wrestles with her feelings for Cameron Murray (Dominic Power), who is the partner of her niece Debbie. The pair will embark on a full-blown relationship in secret in the coming days.
Pargeter told Inside Soap: “I’m not looking forward to when the Dingles find out and make Chas an outsider. I don’t want her to be estranged from them - they are her family, after all.
"Also, I’m terrified of what Debbie will do when she discovers what’s going on. Chas is strong, but that’d be a fight and a half. Charley Webb, who plays Debbie, is formidable - so I’m not looking forward to scrapping with her! I’m scared of Charity, too - who’d want to mess with her?
"We’ll just have to laugh our way through those scenes if and when we come to do them."
The actress confirmed that the storyline will form part of the build-up to Emmerdale's 40th anniversary celebrations in October.
She added: “There are plenty of twists and turns. Other people might be getting involved with it too.”
23rd April Carl is surprised when Megan flirts and invites him up to Home Farm. Katie and Declan are about to have lunch when Megan and Carl join them. Megan downs the wine and is antagonistic, spoiling for a fight when Carl talks about Kelly and Elliot. Megan continues and simmers with rage when Carl leaves.
25th April Megan invites Carl to the pub as she feels bad about what happened the other night.
Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has played man-eater Chas Dingle for 10 years but confessed kissing on screen still makes her cringe.
Chas is about to embark on her latest affair with her cousin Debbie’s boyfriend Cameron, played by Dominic Power, and Lucy told The Daily Mirror, she wishes she didn’t have to get up close and personal with him on screen.
Lucy said: “Yes, it’s acting, but it’s still embarrassing! Whatever people think, I can find it really awkward.
"You’re sat there thinking, ‘This is normally something people do in private and here we are doing it in front of everybody. This isn’t right’.
"So whatever the storyline, when the time comes part of me always says, ‘Shall we just not do this?’ If you know the person it’s even worse."
Lucy added: “I don’t think many people would enjoy taking anything off in front of the nation, so when Chas has to start shedding clothes, I start feeling nervous. Luckily, it’s Emmerdale - so we only see the odd bit of shoulder. There are no full frontals!”
And the 35-year-old mother-of-one revealed she doesn’t like seeing herself on TV, even with clothes on.
She said: “The arrival of high definition hasn’t helped. I can’t bear to watch myself in HD. You can see every line and wrinkle. That isn’t something any woman would enjoy.
"Like most actors, I spend most of my time going through extreme emotions and all that drama plays havoc with your face."
