“Absolutely. If Cameron could confess to anyone, it would be Chas. That’s his biggest guilt - that he can’t be truly happy with Chas until he’s honest with her.
“Their whole relationship is a lie, because he’s still in the woods - both literally and theoretically. At some point, Cameron would like to confess to Chas if he thinks that their relationship would survive that.”
Is their relationship more fragile at the moment?
“Yeah, because Cameron’s stresses start having an impact on the relationship. It’s causing a strain.”
Do you think Chas has any idea now of what Cameron is capable of?
“No! She has caught glimpses of it when he was about to attack Cain, so she knows that he’s got quite a hefty temper. But I think Chas quite likes that!”
Is Cameron also concerned about Debbie’s extreme behaviour?
“Yeah - Cameron may have had this war with Debbie, but he’s still got an affection for her. He was absolutely devastated when they broke up, because he’d made the decision that he was going to be with Debbie rather than Chas at that point.
Initially Cameron wants to get out there and find out what’s going on straight away, but he keeps being delayed by Chas, who wants to spend time with him. The more the stress builds up for Cameron, the more things stand in his way.

@lucyparge on what happens when Chas and Gennie follow Cameron
Is Chas still madly in love with Cameron then?
Yes, and it’s out of the blue that he’s acting oddly. He starts being curt, doesnt’ come home when he says he will, and tells her he’s going somewhere and then isn’t there when she checks. But she doesn’t read much in to it.
Does she think he’s having an affair with someone?
Not until Gennie puts the thought into her head. Then he books her and Gennie into a spa to get them out of the way for the day, and alarm bells suddenly start ringing.
So they follow him….
Chas is worried the last time he tried to get someone out of the village was when he and Chas did a fundraiser for sarah. They made sure Debbie was in Paris so they coukd have a night together.
Is she scared about what she’ll learn, though?
Terrified. When she sees him driving out of the village, she thinks it’s strange, as he’s supposed to be looking after the pub. He’s actually heading off to move Alex’s body, but he spots her and pretends to be working.
Then Cameron suddenly says he’s leaving
She thinks because she’s started to doubt him and put pressure on him, she’s forced to him to act strangely. But she cant’t belive it when he reveals that he’s going.
And then he says he’s got something big to tell her
She has no idea what he’s going to reveal. I think he’s preparing to admit everything and tell her the truth at last and then Gennie turns up. I can’t tell you what happens next, but it’s very exciting!
Viewers are going to be shouting at the screen teling Chas to wise up!
They already are! Chas is just so deseprate for him not to be having an affair that she’ll literally belive any lie that he comes up with to cover what he’s actuall been up to.
It’s only matter of time before Chas finds out that Camerons a killer. What do you think is worse, the fact he’s a murderer or that he’s deceived her for so long?
Well, both being a killer and letting her take the blame for Carl’s death is huge. I don’t know how she’ll deal with it.
If Chas finds out the truth and threatens to go to the police, do you think Cam might murder her too?
Yes, I think he could definitely kill her- he’s capable of killing anyone, to be quite honest!
What has the reaction been like from the viewers?
People shout at me in the street to tell me Chas needs to watch Cameron and watch her back- so it’s nice to have them on her side for once. It would be boring if she was lucky in love, but I don’t think shes’s prepared for the fact that she’s got a killer in the bed!

Some mentions of Lucy Pargeter in Dominic Powers interview.
How does he feel about Chas?
He’s still madly in love with her. But knows that they can’t have a proper relationship until he’s completely honest with her.
Is his stress having a major effect on their romance?
Yes, he’s totally wrung out. Chas doesn’t know where she stands because he isn’t himself at all.
How are things for him when he gets back home again?
He’s on the edge, he’s lying to Chas and he’s crumbling under the oressure of all his lies. Gennie’s also being a busy body she’s never trsuted Cameron and now the net’s closing in on him.
Do you think Chas has any idea what he’s capable of?
She knows he’s got a dangerous side because she saw the flicker in his eyes when he was about to finish Cain off, but I don’t think she has any clue he’s a double killer!
